高風亮節，青竹虛心拔翠對晨暮
玉骨冰肌，紅梅傲雪淩寒絕古今
瘦影婀娜，一枝梅立峭崖吟綺韻
修姿斑駁，幾樹竹於溪畔奏仙音

Bamboos And Plums

High moral integrity
green bamboos modest and green in the morning and evening
Jade bones and ice muscles
red plums proud to snow and fight against cold beyond the ancient and modern times

Thin shadows are graceful
A branch of plums standing on the cliff chant the beautiful rhyme
Tall postures are mottled
a few trees of bamboos by the stream play fairy music
